Socks and Sandwiches
For 4 years StarrMark Academy has a tradition of making sandwiches for Martha’s Table and bringing in winter socks. The evening is filled with the entire academy working together for one purpose. Every year the players exceed expectations. Last year, the players made over 300 sandwiches.
The socks: SMA donates winter socks to the Covenant House of Greater Washington. They specialize in programs for young people experiencing homelessness to advance their goals and achieve sustainable independence with education, job readiness, and career pathways programs.

Girls on the Rise
Our tennis academy has started a partnership with the non-profit organization, Girls on the Rise. With this partnership we will start a tennis training program for their 4th and 5th grade students. During this program we will not only build fundamental tennis skills such as balance, coordination, and footwork, but also build character development, such as discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. At the end of the season we will take the girls to a college tennis match and have them meet the players and coaches, giving them a glimpse into the life of a student-athlete.
Tennis for our sole
The Tennis for our Soles program gives back to the community by collecting gently used shoes and giving them back to a community both across the world and locally. Surrounded by the right support and community is essential for youth in sports. The first way is giving you an opportunity to have the right step forward with shoes that can give them confidence not only physically but mentally with a positive word written in every sole of the shoe. This year's communities being highlighted locally in Baltimore and internationally in Peru. Every year we highlight a new community. From September through May we will be collecting shoes.
