Junior Tennis Levels

TWINKLES
Typically 3-7 Years Old
These players are new to the game or have limited experience. They are still learning the basic strokes and are developing their footwork and coordination. These players are working primarily on getting the ball into play. They use Red balls. Players also work to develop motor skills, speed, and balance with our fitness and yoga coach.
RISING STARS
Typically 7-11 Years Old
These players have developed the basic strokes and are able to rally and sustain a rally. They are beginning to use tactics such as spin and placement to gain an advantage. The Rising Stars program is an introduction to competitive play within inner league matches as well as USTA and UTR tournaments. They use orange and green dot balls within competitive play.Players also work to develop motor skills, speed, and balance with our fitness and yoga coach.

JUNIOR SHOWCASE INVITATIONAL
Typically Ages 11-14 Years Old
These players have developed consistency and can vary their shots with spin, depth, and pace. They have a good understanding of court positioning and tactics and are able to construct points.

JUNIOR SHOWCASE 1
For beginners of age 13-18.
This group is for high school age players who are new to tennis. It is a great on ramp for older players to advance and improve with other players their age.

JUNIOR SHOWCASE 2
These players have developed a high level of consistency and are able to execute advanced shots such as drop shots, lobs, and angles. They have a strong tactical understanding and can adjust their game plan to counter their opponent's strengths.

SHOWCASE
These players have mastered power and/or consistency as a major weapon. They can vary strategies and styles of play in a competitive situation and hit dependable shots in a stress situation.
